Wholesale and retail trade
Wholesale and retail trade is the most important distribution sector with a market share of more than 50%.
47 press wholesalers supply approx. 108,000 nationwide retailers with magazines and newspapers daily during shopping hours.
The number of products ordered is approximately 6,000 plus non-press items such as stickers, albums and confectionery.
Train station and airport press retail trade
Railway newsagents are a particularly powerful distribution channel for special interest titles. Around 450 newsagents at 366 locations belonging to the German railway and airport press trade offer a comprehensive national and international assortment of press products.
Export
Not only do we supply the entire national press wholesale as well as railway newsagents, we also deliver to any relevant market abroad. These include German-speaking neighbouring countries but also all major holiday regions. The distribution is handled directly by our parent company in Unterschleißheim. We cater for the most important foreign markets ourselves and therefore have a close and direct contact to many importers for which we usually are one of the largest suppliers.

Reading circle / specialist trade / alternative distribution channels
In addition to traditional sales channels like retail press trade and train station retail press trade we also manage alternative distribution channels such as reading circles, specialist dealers, in-flight copies, trade fairs, events or online sales (e-papers).
